I was born in the east, raised in the west. My father was a scientist, my mother an actress/singer. I grew up loved and encouraged, taught to be independent and curious about the world around me. I learned to challenge suppositions and think for myself. I believe women have the same rights as men and are of equal value to God.

At five I consumed the alphabet and penned my first poem. At seventeen, an encounter with Jesus Christ transformed my life and continues to inform my writing. My mastery of words led me through graduate school and into a 20-year career in public relations at several universities before retiring to write full time.

I write mostly Christian fiction, including the Superstition Murder Club series, The Living Stones and When Gods Collide. I also dabble in science fiction with my FemCorps series (e-books on Smashwords).

My nonfiction Christian books are Perilous Journey: Memoir of a Bible Smuggler and Remember Her For This: A Study on the Women in the Gospels, which received a silver Illumination Book Award for “Best Bible Study” in 2018.

I live in Mesa, Arizona where I serve as chaplain for a small non-denominational congregation. My great privilege is to care for my 95-year-old mother.

I live by faith day-by-day and experience peace, power and miracles. By God’s will I choose to fight despair, cynicism, chauvinism, and bitterness with love, grace, hope and forgiveness. I hope you will enjoy my writing and connect with me through email.
